They all are from the Pre-Primer Dolch Sight Word List (with 2 extra sight words added in). I wanted to help you as educators out, so I created sight word reader booklets for beginning readers. For example, if you sound out the word ‘the’ it would sound totally different than how it should be pronounced. These are also words that can’t necessarily be sounded out, so they need to be memorized. Sight words are word that are most frequently used and they appear on almost every page of text. It is important for beginning readers to practice reading sight words.
